I just can't imagine someone picking a fight with a stranger at an amusement park. Does anyone have any evidence that these aren't people that know each other and just brought their fight into the park?

Other than some punk kids (race not relevant) that were pushing props into other guests in a maze a few years ago, I've had no unpleasant experiences at Scarowinds that personally affected me, except of course waiting in long and slow lines for some rides.

So no one is allowed to know their may be safety concerns when going? I didn't post to troll the board, I posted my experience at scarowinds which is the topic of the thread. It was meant to inform other patrons of the park to be safe when going its not rainbows and butterfly's. I love carowinds as much as you do, been going for over 15 years. This is the first time I've ever had such an experience at any amusement park. I still love carowinds I'm not bashing it in any way, was just trying to pass along information. I will be going to scarowinds again this Saturday hopefully its not as crowded and I will probably be leaving before close this time to avoid the crowds.

You'll love Slaughterhouse and Silver Scream with the revamp, but be sure to hit those first, they get crowed.. How was HHN?

HHN was great! 9 house are a bit much to do in one night but I made it possible. here are some examples how extremely detailed the houses are at HHN.

This house is based off these guys . . .


They are "body collectors". They collect bodies and kill people in the most gory way possible. They stumble upon this asylum in the winter. It was snowing and all. it was beautiful!

In 2006, Hurler was shut down for repairs after several guests came off bleeding from the head. The steel rails in turn 5 had came loose causing riders to hit their heads on the bolt in front of them; both I and my team leader caught this and reported it to maintenance. Maintenance told my team leader that if we haven't had found the defect during test rides then the train may have derailed.

You mention several time about riders and guests being bloodied up from this mishap but then you go on to say that the issue was found during test runs. So which is it?

And that's the thing! Some movies HAVE been filmed in their houses. The detail in them is just out of this world! I fully understand that SCarowinds may not be up this this level and that's ok. I just wanna go now for the fights and stun guns . . .

Grabs some popcorn and sit in front of harmony hall and in the park lot I guess... I didn't know what was going on when we left, I didn't know that Carowinds has their on horses?!?!? But it was cool.
