I know roll your eyes now, but I'm curious what you think of any of the Paramount Parks getting a hyper next year?

There were rumours a couple years ago that 2006 or 2007 Carowinds would get a hyper.

While I find this highly unlikely, one can dream.

Hope so. There has been a rumor of Carowinds getting a hyper once a year for many years know. And after all, something big must be coming the next year *2006* considering the family rides coming to Carowinds. *2005*.

Yeah iy must be something like a TTD. Or bigger than Kinda Ka.

That would be so cool if we could have the tallest and fastest roller coaster on the planet. But speed and height don't necessarily make a good coaster. I would be fine if we got a coaster that wasn't as tall or fast as TTD or Kindga Ka, as long as it's over 200 feet and loaded with airtime. I would love to have a B&M Hyper, theirs looks the best design and smoothest. But yet, I've never riden a coaster that's a hyper. So I wouldn't know. But, based on what people say about them, they are the best.

There were rumors that were half way credible sounding a year ago that we would be getting a hyper. I know it's a long shot, but some times weird things happen.

I thought everyone was crazy last year saying that PGA was sending us Stealth. And that was floating around the internet at least a month or two before we saw track appear at PC and before the told the PGAers to get their last ride on it because it was leaving.

This is a discussion board, it's here to discuss things.

I think we're going to be seeing some offshoots of that ride concepts survey popping up in the parks in the future. I didn't see anything hyper related in any of them. That's not to say that they won't build a hyper. But, I don't see it working into their whole crossmarketing movies/brand names and thrills. I still think they might retheme the FOF into that concept they presented.

Unless they come up with a killer concept that utilizes a hyper....
