You can count me in the group that's happy to see this. It's an indoors, interactive, air conditioned family attraction. This is exactly what people have been asking for as far as non-coaster related activities.

Personally, I think this looks AWESOME. Reading through the description, I thought, "looks kinda fun," but then I saw something really intriguing: being able to pick teams. Usually, most attractions like this have players on the same team competing for the highest score, but the fact that guests will get to play against each other seems really awesome and unique. I'm in the minority of guests who actually miss spongebob, so this looks like a really good replacement.

Spongebob was the best show they had in the Action Theater. The only problem was that it hung around too long and folk grew tired of it.

Hats off Carowinds but my main concern was the last two years of the carowinds music festival, they have held it in the unused side of the theater. So....

Just noting that the press release from CGA said nothing about motion seats.
I am impressed...alittle.

I believe the Mass Effect press release described the attraction as "motion based." Personally, I find our attraction more appealing and still stand by my statement that Terminator looks gimmicky.

I hate to jump on the "Complain about the ride with very few details released" train, but I really do NOT like the P vs Z theme. In my opinion its very hypocritical of CF after they said they were bringing back the Carolina Theming. This just seems like a very Six Flags-ish move. The one thing I hated about SFOG was the sponsored rides, and rides that are named for other brands. Had CF made it a Carolina themed ride I think I'd be a lot more excited.

Sorry for the rant, but a random question I had- Was the street outside of Carowinds always named "Carowinds Blvd." or was that implemented under CF?

^^I didn't mean for the post to come off as negative as it did, I am overall very, very, very grateful and excited for everything CF has and plans to give to Carowinds, I just dislike the "Branded" theming of the ride.

^I do not really like the Snoopy theming, but since it is chain-wide I just deal with it, however in my "Dream Carowinds" it would be themed to something else.

I just want to say again that I am overall very happy with everything CF has done, and just dislike a tiny part of next years P vs. Z ride.

It has been named Carowinds Blvd since atleast 1991 but I suspect since the park was built. I think but I am not positive but Carowinds Blvd is part of U.S. 21 so that may have been the name prior to Carowinds Blvd.
