So I'm heading out to Six Flags Over Georgia for the first time next Saturday and I've got a few questions.

-Does the park close before its halloween event like Carowinds or does it stay open all day?

-Should I hit Dare Devil Dive up first due to it's capacity?

-Which rides have lower/higher capacity?

-What should I expect in terms of crowds?

-Is Mindbender as legendary as everybody claims it is?

Based on the calendar, it looks like it's open all day.

Yes
-Which rides have lower/higher capacity?
DDD S:UF, and probably Scorcher
-What should I expect in terms of crowds?
I visited in the summer of 2013, but I'd expect the park to be decently crowded
-Is Mindbender as legendary as everybody claims it is?
YES! YES YES YES! IF YOU DON'T RIDE IT, JESUS WILL MAKE YOUR PRIVATES FALL OFF!

If you don't think I'm serious about the last answer, I'm pretty sure it's buried somewhere in Leviticus.

I went a few years ago, and the only really long line that I waited for was Dare Devil Dive. Most others had a 5-20 minute wait. I'd say that all the major coasters there are worth a long line (except Ninja, if Jesus doesn't make your privates fall off because you skipped Mindbender, then Ninja will).

I was at six flags yesterday. Remember, they open at noon right now. Beware of the single train operations. DDD wasn't operating yesterday. I would go to the back, superman, and work my way up. Mindbender is better in the back. Yesterday I had a virtually trimness ride . . . OMFG. I have a new respect for it. Their haunt event is a joke. Eat before the park, the food is less desirable. Ninja ia bad but not that bad.

I already knew about the noon opening, (which makes zero sense but whatever). I'm kinda hoping to get a ride on DDD, even though it's just a Eurofighter, there's always been something about that's interested me. Can't wait for Superman as it will be my first B&M Flyer!

back seat on that too for the pretzel loop! Also, second row on each car for scream machine and don't miss Monster [s]Plantation[/s] Mansion.

Honestly, I don't know what's worse, the reckless driver or the idiots cheering on the police to shoot her. I agree that they should've used whatever was necessary to stop her from causing more damage, whether it be a taser or a even a gun. However, I find it equally disgusting that people were filming this while rooting for her injury/death and screaming at her. And maybe I could ignore all of that if it hadn't been posted to the channel of a local news station.

"News."

Tl;dr: What should I expect from SFNE on a Saturday? What about Columbus Day (Monday)??
I didn't want to make a new topic for this, but do people know how crowded SFNE gets for Fright Fest? I'm trying to take the freshmen in my advising group on a "bonding trip" and of course I'm pushing for Six Flags. I think the plan right now is to go on a Saturday, because Sundays don't work that well for their advisor and if we go on a Friday, we wouldn't have much time there since we have to wait for them to get done with classes and there will be a lot of traffic. The park is also open on Columbus Day (like in 2 days) but I have no idea whether it will be more crowded that day or less crowded since a lot of people might still have to work. If any of you guy have experience/strong reason to think Monday will be not crowded, then I can try to rally the troops and bring them then. Thanks!
