I'm here now and it's horrifically crowded. So I'm just going to grab lunch and leave. I may come back for dinner but I'm can't leave without riding the gliders lol. I pared at the north gate but afterseeing the million man math in the plaza I happily walked all the way to the south gate.

I was there and got thru the park in about an hour and a half. Everything was walk on thanks to the weather and the Panther's game.

Anybody know what happened to T-Rex. i just happened to have parked slight further down so I had to walk up the parking lot to the gate, which I don't do because I'm usually parked in the 1-3 row of the new parking at the end where I walk up the state line to the gate. I remember seeing it with both claws missing now it's totally removed.

Does anyone think the All-American Amusement Parks episode for Carowinds was postponed because Cedar Fair wanted to wait until after Fury/Carolina Harbor to film the park? They did a Dorney Episode after all.

awwww.....I missed the petting zoo. I did the Skeleton Crew show and Last Laff on my first visit to Scarowinds on opening day and didn't go back into that area the last couple times I went. I like a petting zoo.

I know some of you may that not care much about this, but Carowinds has shot up the rankings on tripadvisor. It is now #11 of 124 things to do in Charlotte. The park was around #20 or #22 when I last checked back in late-July/early-August. I wonder if we'll see it in the top five next year or even possibly at #1.

Anybody think the park will be crowded Saturday for the last 2 hours? I just wanna get in a couple coaster rides. I went last sunday but there were a bunch of tour buses and the parking attendent said something about an event going on l.

Could anyone tell me if their are any more bring a friend days? Want to take my niece before the park closes for the year and hoping to do it cheaper than the ticket price.
