Some sad news/rumors out of screamscape today:
(10/8/15) Who remembers the Ozark Wildcat? While the GCI wooden coaster was part of the failed Celebration City park near to Silver Dollar City, and never part of or in Silver Dollar City, those who drove by the quiet husk still sitting there kept hoping that it may be reborn again someday. Apparently, this will never come to pass as the company has now filed the paperwork needed to demolish the Ozard Wildcat coaster. Scroll down to the last page at this link and you can see that the project is currently under review and was submitted on Oct. 7th.

But that's not all:
2016 - Incredible Hulk Coaster Renovation - (10/8/15) Consider me more than a tiny big disturbed by this news, but a fairly solid Screamscape source has informed me tonight that the 2016 Incredible Hulk coaster may not actually be from B&M. They couldn't tell me who would be behind the rebuilt version, or even if it would still even resemble old Hulk layout or not anymore, but apparently something sinister is afoot. Stay tuned...
I find it disturbing that this may be the last kind of look we'll get of the infamous B&M Incredible Hulk coaster.

Well that explains the lack of replacement track pieces, kinda odd that such a famous B&M coaster is the first B&M coaster in history to be scrapped.

That doesn't necessarily mean that it won't be a B&M creation again. If they aren't planning on opening it until next summer they won't need the new track until after the first of the year. I mean, all the wiring and footers are done. All they have to do is erect the columns and track and that wouldn't take more than a few months. I'd venture to say that if they do replace it with more B&M then they wouldn't even need the track until around March-ish. That gives them 3 months to assemble the track and supports, test it, and reopen in June.

I'm not sure how reliable this is, but apparently B&M is going to rebuild Hulk under the same theme.

B&M is definitely involved. Can't say a lot, but I've confirmed that thru several sources.

And even if Cleremont isn't the mfg of the track, that wouldn't make this any less a Beemer. Not sure how that was hard to understand. They already designed and installed the original ride. Granted, they're involved in this one too.

I never thought I would see a steel coaster retracked in a fashion similar to a wooden coaster. My sources say that Afterburn is all original except for one track piece.

The post about Ozark Wildcat makes me so sad. It was an AMAZING little woodie. It was so depressing to drive down 76 and see it just sitting there wasting away, but it'll be more depressing to see it gone. :(

Been to the Magic Kingdom. But there wasn't much to see when they replaced Space Mountain and they only done portions of Big Thunder.

Pretty sure some are aware especially those that travel abroad such as myself to theme parks, however PhantasiaLand in Germany announced a while back that they will be building Taron, a multi launch coaster by Intamin. This is go along with a new area project called Klugheim. I haven't been to the park in 6yrs so I have a lot to do when I get back hopefully in 2016 or 17. Here's some footage of the ride construction of the track and the heavy themed walls.

YES. It would be great to have one here so people didn't have to travel to Carowinds or KD 3 hours away.
