Since we've had such a lively discussion in the Hyper thread :rolleyes: I decided to get some more discussion on another topic.

Just curious what you would say to Carowinds if you could have a wish list for the next couple of seasons.

Keep in mind that I'm pretty sure that there is at least one person from Carowinds that actually reads posts on this board. So keep it professional.

Don't post stupid comments like "We should get 10 new coasters in the next 5 years!!!1!".

My suggestions are as follows:

A revamp of County Fair.

The place doesn't look that great anymore. I would like to see a flat ride in that area and maybe move or remove the games.

A giant frisbee flat ride would be my hope. Either there or in the Thrill Zone near the Sky Coaster.

I would also like to see a bathroom closer to the back exit, but that's just something picky.

Season pass holder entrance

Some parks like Dollywood have a special entrance just for season pass holders. I'd love to see one installed at the back gate to speed up getting into the park.

The past few months I've had several occasions where it was a very long line just to get into the park and get checked by the security people.

Tomb Raider (Top Spin) or Launched coaster

I would love to see a "clone" of PKI's Top Spin installed at PC. It is a very good dark/flat ride. Very exciting and I would love to have one at PC.

I'd also like to see an enclosed launched coaster similar to Flight of Fear at PKD and PKI.

Final thoughts

I would love to see the parking lot moved out to where the pond used to be in the front of the park and all along the overflow parking lot area.

This would free up a lot of space that the park could expand and add a whole new area to the left of the main entrance.

The only other major complaint I have is the parking lot itself. It makes no sense how the exit works.

The traffic lights only allow about 8 cars at the most, then they turn red again. This backs up traffic like you wouldn't believe.

One July 4th it took me an hour to get out of the parking lot!

Or at the least on busy days open up the exit over by Thunder Road.

Like I said, let's keep it professional people. What would be your suggestions for the future of our beloved park.

Well, I would like to see also a make over on County Fair

Maybe like dollywoods.
A tilt' a' Hurl, faris wheel, swings, And my be a frisbee.

Then I would like to see a hughe makeover on thrill zone

Higher Drop Zone
New Coaster ( STEEL)
More flats
It is just so hot there it is just concreate.


And I could may be see a bomerang bay soon.

Ok from a Employee here is what i would like to see

Updated County Fair
-Make it more fair like have a ferris wheel bring some swings maybe a zipper something along those lines.

Parking
-A TRAM it would help for the people that park all the way in the overflow next to Thunder Road because that is a long walk
-The Biggest thing probably would be which could probably not ever happen is to tear down the MALL make that the new parking lot area have a monorail go from one entrance and another to go to the other entrance and you can expand just about everything from Kiddie Zone to County Fair make alot of new areas it could work.

Update Thrill Zone
-Spend some time on Hurler its a fun coaster when it is running smooth so if there are ways that you can get Hurler smooth how come you cant keep it smooth.
-Extend Thrill Zone back behind Hurler and add a Huss Frisbee and some more Extreme rides, Top Spin (Not Tomb Raider along the lines of Extreme Instead) Flight Of Fear Make it better than the other two.

Update Saturator
-Make it almost a two train operation with maybe about 4 rows in each that would make it fun

Boomerang Bay of course except lets not get the same rides like the other parks maybe like the Master Blaster ride or something like that, make the wave pool bigger with bigger waves, more shade and take the Concrete out so are feet dont burn lol

The last thing probably would be add some more theming to Borg like the rumor of boiling water in the lake.

P.S. One last thing Have Thunder Road have one drivers booth so you can race the trains everytime, and also either a Hyper, Floorless, or a Wooden GCI Coaster

Master Blaster looks awesome, never been on it though.

That would be great.

TR racing again would be great. I can't see them doing 1 booth and being safe though.

^ Many racing coasters have one booth. The first one that I can think of off the top of my head is Lightning Racer at Hersheypark.

A big ride like the Italian Job or some other new Paramount ride could fit there.

Theme it. Just as long as it's not a concrete pad like it is now. I think a 50s Carolina theme would be cool.

-More Flat Rides

I'd also like to see more shows and themed costumes for employees (Like what places like Dollywood, Disney, and Busch do-the employees dress in costumes that match their themed area.) I see the Top Gun and Borg employees started wearing costumes this year.

If the parking lot is moved away from the park, I guess trams would also be nice.

I was talking about the park in general in this thread, I was talking about a possible Hyper/rumors in the other thread.

Good gracious, people act like this is something that comes up every day.

Like CC is just the busiest board and that this is totally wasting their time.
