hmm...i like the concept.. but i do not like seeing nighthawk go. i actually like nighthawk alot although it has terrible wating times. but a launched coaster would be nice. but id rather see an infinity where vortex is. seeing that CF starts going iwth gerstlauer more because theyre (finally) installing another gerstlauer up at wonderland

I'm still crossing my fingers (and toes) that B&M is still trying to figure out that whole "launched flying coaster" thing... We'd have a launch and a good flyer, killing two birds with one stone. Plus, just imagine how beautiful it'd be shooting out over the lake!! Paint it white with gold track and call it White Lightnin'!

But I feel strongly that in all likelihood our next coaster will be a launched wing from B&M. A worthy edition, but just wouldn't have the same pizzaz a "first in the world" launched flyer would. But really, Carowinds' next coaster could be just about anything.

LOL. No. It's a big difference to do what they're doing with the wave pools as opposed to spinding tens of millions to replace a ride with something similar. (And likely not that marketable).

This is why you'll never be anything higher than a ride op at a park.

While I agree with everything you said in the main part of this post, why was that last sentence necessary? He was defending his idea and viewpoint, and you immediately attack him over it. Its like you two can't stand not fighting with each other...

Roller, there is now way on Earth you actually believe that Carowinds will get a B&M flyer. If Cedar Fair won't give a B&M flyer to the parks that could really use one, why would they give one to the park who already has a flyer? I don't mean to be rude, just stating what seems obvious to me.

I love all the B&M coasters at Carowinds. But I would like to see their next coaster be a different manufacturer such as Intamin. For a different feel and perhaps more intensity. I would like to see an Intamin gigacoaster similar to a bigger, taller Skyrush. Would be awesome to have 2 gigas in one park. But I do realize Carowinds needs a launch coaster.

There will be a B&M flyer in Nighthawk's spot before we have another giga, much less an Intamin one. In all seriousness, I either see our next coaster being a GCI or a launch. Never been on a Mack launch but Blue Fire and Helix have gotten amazing reviews, wouldn't mind seeing one at the park if that's the case. Though, to be truthful, I could really see us with a launched wing similar to Thunderbird given Cedar Fair's love for B&M.

I see no reason to spend millions just to build a new wavepool when they had two. It would have made more sense and been cheaper to move the pink slides.

I think the wavepool is a positive addition. Matter of fact, I once been to a waterpark that had 3 wavepools.

I know this may never happen, but it would be awesome if they used the smaller wavepool they currently have, for a fun way of landing if they add new water slides in that general area.
