Many of us talk about new coasters we'd like to see added, but for me, improving our current coaster collection is just as important as adding great new rides. The purpose of this thread is to highlight how you think each coaster at Carowinds could be improved in order to maximize its potential as a ride. I know a lot of you will say that the best way to improve some of our rides is to demolish them (

), but for the purposes of this thread, I'm going to assume that we'd be keeping all of our coasters.
Afterburn: Track and supports would be repainted once again with the same color scheme, only a much more thorough job would be done this time. Additionally, the mist in the tunnel would always stay on when the coaster is operating (as long as the weather is warm enough).
Carolina Cobra: Both the track and supports would be repainted, but the color scheme would remain the same.
Carolina Cyclone: Color scheme would be changed to deep maroon with golden supports, and new trains similar to Carolina Cobra’s would be added. Cyclone would receive a new name and theme as well.
Carolina Goldrusher: More landscaping would be added throughout the ride, and adjustments would be made to the trains to make the ride experience more comfortable.
Flying Ace Aerial Chase: Trains would be replaced with ones that are more comfortable.
Fury 325: Trees would be planted throughout the ride’s course.
Hurler: GCI would continue to retrack the entire ride, the trim brake would be removed, and the trains would be replaced. The coaster would also be renamed and rethemed.
Intimidator: Coaster would be repainted (same color scheme), and the second trim brake would be removed (if safe to do so).
Lucy’s Crabbie Cabbie: No changes necessary.
Nighthawk: Coaster would be repainted (same color track, but supports would become a darker blue). The pond beneath it would be expanded, and more landscaping would be added throughout the ride. Trains would be replaced to ones that better improve capacity.
Ricochet: No changes necessary.
Vortex: Would be converted to a floorless coaster. It would receive a repaint (orange track, deep purple supports) and be rethemed and renamed. Additionally, enhancements would be added throughout the ride (a tunnel covering part of the upward helix, more trees, and water elements from Nighthawk’s pond [which would be expanded beneath parts of Vortex]) to make the ride experience feel more complete.
Woodstock Express: Trains would be replaced to ones that better fit adults.
