General Carowinds discussion

Hey everyone. I need a little help from my fellow Carowinds photographers out there.

I felt honored recently when asked by the president of the European Coaster Club (ECC) to write an article on Fury 325 for the clubs 100th edition of their magazine, First Drop, due out in Jan/Feb 2016. The article is complete and now we need photos. Lot's of photos! I submitted 10 photos already. Some that I took, and some I grabbed from Jonathan's Flickr page (with his permission). They need to be hi-resolution photos. Cannot have a watermark although you will be properly credited if your photo is used. We do not want construction photos, as that was covered back in last January's issue. We need Fury in action photos. Close ups of the trains full of people. I need a nice view of the Barrel Turn. Anybody? That's a hard one to photograph without a good zoom lens. Tunnel photos. Airtime hill photos. We do not need media day photos of the ribbon cutting.

I need them by Sunday or Monday Dec. 7th at the latest. If you have a Flickr page, that would be great as I can download them from there. I will contact you if I use your photos although I have no control as to which photos actually get printed. Justin is very good about giving proper credit to photographers. So, here is a good opportunity to have your best Fury 325 photos seen worldwide !

I need at least 10-15 more photos. Thanks!

I have a few decent pics that I am happy to provide. None of mine are online without a watermark so I have a link I'll PM you where you can download them from my server directly. Feel free to submit any, all, or none of them.

Thanks to those who allowed me to use their photos for my FURY 325 article. I sent about 36 incredible photos from 5 great photographers. I doubt all 36 will be used but Justin said this will be the biggest issue of First Drop in it's 20 year history so we'll see. And also thanks to those who sent me photos that I was not able to use.
