They just announced on Fox 46 news that the waterpark is opening 2wks before Memorial Day next season.....uh that's a first.

^ Yes, according to the news they did a very small segment on the construction and said that they are ahead of schedule due to the warm temps and that they will be opening 2wks prior to memorial day next season.

I recalled Steve said they will be finish with everything BY may 1st, but most will be done way before that (being all the vertical steel for the new slide complex is all done). That gives time for state inspections and other stuff. not recalling an actual opening day, but I always wondered why they waited until late may.

It's a 2nd exit, not entrance.

The news is correct. The park will open with a new entrance gat off of the Blvd with direct access to The waterpark. This was announced by the park. And it's a third entrance.
