^If that happens to Hurler, I will have to ride it! I would love to see but I have great doubts.

I personally love Cyclone. Nothing wrong with it at all. Just needs more comfortable restraints is all.

I cried (a little) when TR left. I'll be bawling buckets if/when Cyclone leaves. It's the coaster that started my enthusiasm.

And am I the only one who doesn't want to see an RMC at the park? It's not even that I don't like them, I just don't want one in the park. If we do get one, I'd prefer a ground-up coaster and not an Iron Horse.

^^ I agree. Cyclone would be a really fun ride if it had better trains and a little more theme.

^ As far as I'm concerned, anything is better than Hurler. Iron Horse or ground-up.

I think the area behind Cyclone will be open for expansion in the near future.

I've had a gut feeling for a while now that the Cyclone's next on the chopping block. No real reason, just a hunch.

Also, IMHO, there's not much that can be done to the Hurler to make it a good coaster. I don't want to seem like a contrarian, but even with a smoother ride it'll still have what I think is a very uninspired layout.

Whatever crew gets to tear down cyclone is going to have their work cut out for them. I have noticed that the track and supports are welded together. This means the coaster will have to be scrapped as it would be impossible to break the welds and reassemble it at another location.

I still cry when I am looking at pictures of Thunder Road, Thunder Road was my first big roller coaster and the one that hooked me on Carowinds and coasters. The absence of Thunder Road is like a hole in my heart. I will shed a tear for Cyclone but only because of the history.

From stories I heard my first ride on Cyclone was unpleasant for me and I refused to ride it until after Top Gun was built. I think my first ride on Cyclone was the day I got heat exhaustion as a little kid, got sick and passed out. The way my parents tell the story I had to carried out of the park.

If Cyclone were to be moved to another park it would not be the first time an Arrow welded steel coaster has been moved. Roaring 20s Corkscrew and more early Arrows were moved. Thunder Express at Dollywood!

As I said, there's not much that can be done to make it better. RMCing it would probably work, but is quite an extreme measure for a coaster that nobody seems to like anyway. Personally, I wouldn't be at all unhappy with a Hurler conversion, but I think a better use of RMC talent would be a totally original coaster.

Am I the only one who has been on a RMC coaster???? The concept of the conversion are just that, taking coasters that no one likes/rides anymore and extremely breathing life into them.

Apparently, I ain't rode a RMC yet.....
Boil me in oil?
Oh Jarvis, did I ever have it together after all I went by RollerNut for years; that was super bright like a lightbulb.

I would just rather see Hurler fixed into a decent wooden coaster rather than lose the only major woodie we have left.

I rode Hurler the year she opened....Good Skytower, I was off my seat over every hill!

^There was also less of you (an me) to lift off the seat. Seriously, I don't get the same feeling on a lot of coasters that has had no changes made to them. I chalked it up to being a fattie now.

I haven't been on one yet. But I'll be at Lightning Rod media day, so that will be my chance to ride my first RMC. I'd love to go up to new Jersey to ride Wicked Cyclone. Have any of you been on that one? I think Jonathan has. If I remember correctly.
