The Whirling Devilish may have disappeared from PGA! Bring the Whirling Devilish back to Carowinds, Paramount Parks, along with the Wild Bull.

*Actually the ride's name was Whirling Dervish, not "Whirling Devilish".

If it's going any where, I'm guessing Terra Mitica(A Paramount Park) over in Spain. (Just a guess, remember)

Of course, it could come back to Carowinds, because Flight School was a failure and I believe the equipment for it was gone in July. Maybe the park decided it had made a mistake...

P's Great America made a bad move with that entire Hometown Square expansion in the first place, as I've heard. They removed the train, and for the most part just created a large paved area that was not needed.

I've also heard that SFOG is getting a Wave Swinger in '04, but the one that was in there employee parking lot was one of those tacky Zamperla Wave Swingers, not a Zierier, like Whirling Dervish was.

How did the flight school work, I only saw it when it was closed and nobody was riding it.

If I remember correctly (and I only saw it open a few times not that anybody was ever on it), there were mini trampolines that the "cadets" could bounce up and down on and do turnovers, etc. Am I correct? I know PKI has a set of these mini trampolines near the end of the Coney Island midway.

close.........they were vertical trampolines and you were hoisted on a rope and bounced horizontally instead of vertical..........waste of money

I dont think we will get swings anytime soon. With the new man in charge im guessing he will try to make things alot more thrilling. They will probaly update county fair next year and rename it while adding a new thril ride. Is Frenzod hopefully will be runing next year.
