You're not the only one. Those colors are starting to look nice to me.

I don't hate the colors, but they wouldn't have been my first choice either. To me the colors don't make the coaster really stand out among the others.

"The Carowinds attraction will be based on the science fiction-themed Mass Effect game while the Great America version will pit laser-gun-wielding players against each other in the garden warfare Plants vs. Zombies attraction."

...though I think they got something backwards.

Light purple?? Do you see the logo. Graphic design 101 and color concept first thing I was taught...you stay as close to the logo as possible yet you dont want to be matchy matchy...so they kept the navy for the supports as are the color of the feathers on the the Valrvn. Now as for the goldish orange on the letters of the logo. That's what you want to take up or down a notch or two. In this case they took it down 3 lol with the burnt orange or rust color if I may, to keep it the darkness of the theme. The light purple would've feminized the character too i.e. Banshee's navy blue and Magenta scheme which I absolutely love.

I think it will bring contrast to all the other brightly colored coasters in the park. Im glad they went with a dark scheme. I miss riding a dark colored coaster. The last coaster I rode dark coaster was Top Gun at CGA which have since been painted red go figure and Batman at various 6Flag parks which have been opted out for the blue color.

I don't mind the colors, but I would have preferred this color (very dark navy blue) for the track, keep the same silver stripe on the bottom of the track, and then this color (gold) for the supports.

The navy blue would match the color of the wings on the logo, and the gold would match the armor on the logo.

Are any of you aware that Ferrari Land in Spain is building an Intamin launched coaster, which will be 367 feet tall? Making it the tallest giga coaster in the world. But Fury is still the tallest with a conventional lift hill.

The 'giga' designation is a very arbitrary classification. I never put much stock in it myself. If you want to be creative enough, every coaster can be classified as the tallest in the world within its own height range. I think having the tallest lift hill in the world sounds more impressive than having the tallest 'giga coaster', IMHO.

That being said, it is kinda funny how short lived that was.
