I love it! It's great to see that they are adding different colors into the park scheme and not always going with the same colors.

For what it's worth, I don't think the blue is a final color. I think it's part of the old, faded colors that just hasn't been painted yet.

They are removing the second station, which hasn't been used recently. The walkway to Blackbeard's Revenge will cut through the gap.

Wish they would take this opportunity to lengthen the lazy river ... a LOT. It needs to be about twice as long and it wouldn't hurt to be JUST A TOUCH faster.

There's this new thing they just came out with called a "BRIDGE". Hmmm. Quite possibly a use for those would be to walk OVER the river as it meanders through the park. a NOVEL idea!!!!

Don't know if they "looked" at it or not. Its a common thing that people complain about is the Lazy River. Looking at the plans, they could have done something like this (add the blue and remove the red) and done something with the created "island" and added bridges if needed. Actually, would rather that bottom area go further left before turning back. Looking at the plans, it's probably POSSIBLE in the future to do something like this but now would be the opportunity since the whole area is torn up getting treatment. It needs MAJOR help. I usually stay away from the lazy river because it's too short and because of that, is way too crowded. (You certainly can't be lazy.)

I asked about a possible expansion of the current lazy river. Steve told me that it might be a possibility, but for right now, they are just putting in a new bottom and working on the side walls, adding new paint, etc. To make it look better.

I would rather see either a new lazy river built or a new action river built. Either keep the current Lazy river or convert it to an action River.

I also asked about the about the lazy river, if it will ever be expanded. From the gist of things, it would be more feasible and financially sound to add an additional lazy river than to add on to the current.

To further expound, adding to the lazy river isn't as easy as you think. Its like adding more levels to your home that's has a foundation for only one level. You would have to add more/strong pump house to push the currents as the current system is built for the river as it is now. Not to mention older sections that would go bad before the newer. As it was said, it would be cheaper and worthy to just build/add another lazy river than to add on.

Besides, the river isn't that small for a lazy river.

Hmm, I rode lazy river this summer but don't remember. Does that concrete path(assuming it is actually a channel) from the green slide to the lazy river act as just a waterfall?

What park is the second picture from?
