Wasn't there a "headchopper" for Carolina Queen as well where it went under the monorail?

I don't think the Monorail went over the main part of the lagoon, just the small pond behind the Goldrusher. The Monorail track would really have to be high up for the Riverboat to pass under it.

I know the Cable Skyway went over the riverboat's path twice. The gondolas probably came very close to the Riverboat's smokestacks.

Makes me miss the cable cars even more. I know they were probably a pain to work on, but I love the ones at BGW. Still wish we had ours.

I forgot all about Goldrusher riding right beside the monorail too.

My how the mighty have fallen! lol Course I didn't really start going to the park a lot until I was out of high school in 92 when we got Vortex.

Speaking of which, we rode it Saturday and to me it seems like they've gotten something fixed on it because it's running a lot smoother this year.

I actually don't hate it anymore. That's an improvement!!!

Hurler was also continuing to run very smooth. What a year for PC!!! Vortex and Hurler both running smooth at the same time!!! Stop the presses!! lol
