That was calm . . .

I don't think any of the responses were ill intent. No caps, no exclamation points. Just passing some knowledge and understanding along.

^ You're nice nasty coasterbruh...Edwardo can be as well. lol. I understand now I thought once the name is licensed you can use it in all streams of the park. I didn't think about the contract with Warner bro because to me six flags have been using super hero names mainly batman and other villains who go along with batman and superman for so many years. Guess I was thrown off. Since The Joker was being used at SFDK and like 3 other parks, I didn't understand what the problem was to use total mayhem until things were approved for that one ride when the name is already being used for 3 other attractions in 3 different park in the chain.

Calm down, Beyoncé. Nobody was trying to be rude. Sometimes we try to educate :) .

^ More as in having the money to drop rides into Carowinds MarkD. lol

Just a little update from KD's site. I personally prefer the Huss and Zamperla versions, however I do like the updated seating with the what looks like the same lights you see on the bottom of the Windseeker seats going down the spine of Delirium's seats. The pink is throw me off with the rest od the color scheme as well lol.

Also the iconic KD sign near I-95 will be getting an updated Logo, LED package and full color screen, currently underway.Image

They must be behind a bit photo wise. The crew definitely finished the second drop maybe a day or 3 ago and now are working on the second iImmelmann inversion.

I was at Seaworld Orlando this past Sunday to see Gladys Knight perform for Bands, Brews & Barbecue (concert was great btw). While There I took some pics of Mako still under construction. It's coming along quite well. I wouldn't be surprised if the track is finished in the next 2-3 weeks. Unfortunately their skytower is still not operational (neither was it NYE when I was there) so no good shots from above.

WINTERFEST
Weekends Beginning November 25, Daily December 19-23 and 26-30

For 2016, Great America will introduce a spectacular larger than life holiday event, WinterFest. The park will be magically transformed into a winter wonderland during WinterFest where guests can skate in front of the iconic Carousel Columbia, admire magnificent displays of lights and décor, view spectacular live holiday shows, experience 18 rides and attractions, see Santa’s workshop and Mrs. Claus’ kitchen, and enjoy scrumptious holiday foods at numerous locations.

The winter scene will be dominated by one of the Bay Area’s tallest Christmas trees adorned with hundreds of twinkling lights accompanied by giant toy soldiers greeting guests.

The five-week WinterFest celebration begins November 25 for weekend operation. Daily operations run December 19-23 and 26-30.

The holiday season will be evident with 100 decorated trees, 7 uniquely lighted sections of the park, a main midway light show, a reindeer petting station, Charlie Brown’s Tree Lot and much more.

Live entertainment will include a nightly tree lighting ceremony, carolers performing on a holiday trolley, a Merry Christmas Snoopy ice show, Santa’s Elves stage show and face painting.

In addition to everyone’s favorite Peanuts characters, Great America guests will delight in seeing Frosty, Jack Frost, Jingle Bell, the Gingerbread Man, Sugar Plum Fairy and Santa’s Elves, Holly, Lolly and Jolly. Even Scrooge will have his spirits raised at WinterFest.

Among Great America’s 18 WinterFest rides are Gold Striker, Star Tower, Rue Le Dodge, Celebration Swings, Carousel Columbia, Delirium and many of your Planet Snoopy favorites.

Admission to WinterFest will be free for 2016 Gold and Platinum pass holders.
