Yes, yes I do.

Signed,

Also of note, the style the booths were set up for taste will not be returning, they will ALL be in the same area vs scattered around.

Thunder Road! Ya know I am surprise Paramount didn't retheme the County Fair area to Grease. They could have rethemed Thunder Road without changing the name. The Whirling Dervish wouldn't have fit as the ride was invented after 1959 but Scrambler could switch places.

Grit your teeth, bear the load, still missing Thunder Road.

Did they say what area of the park?

I just passed by Afterburn about half an hour ago and saw that they had illuminated the lift hill with a bunch of blue lights. Would it be part of a new lighting package for the coaster, or is it just for overhead planes (like the blinking red lights on top of Intimidator, Fury, Windseeker, and the Skytower)?

Could it be leftover from SCarowinds? A reflection off the blue paint? I think Afterburn had normal color light bulbs in the past but there again I don't remember the lift hill having lights on during operation.

Yea I just drove by myself and noticed the blue lights. I do remember that side of the park being lit in blue lights during Scarowinds, however as you may or may can not see Intimidator is now illuminated with blue lights as well. Sorry for the blur.

Those are aesthetic lights for sure... not for aviation...

Not sure the official regulation but I'm pretty sure they have to be red lights or a blinking white strobe for aviation...not blue. Also, Afterburn isn't tall enough to require them..

Straight from a press release the park just sent out:

"In addition, Carowinds is joining in the quest to turn the Queen City blue and show support for the Panthers! The park will go blue Friday night, illuminating the lift hill of the record-breaking coaster, Fury 325, with blue lights. Also, Skytower, which takes you high above the skies for a bird’s eye view of the park, will feature blue cat eyes. Several other guest favorites will feature the blue theme in honor of the Panthers including: Intimidator, Windseeker, Afterburn and the beloved wooden coaster, Hurler. There’s also a Panther growl playing in Carowinds’ midways.
#GoPanthers #KeepPounding"

Although I'm not sure I would classify Hurler as "beloved" and why play a panther growl when no one can hear it?
