Help me understand, because I don't know how this kinda stuff works. Why would Cedar Fair let anyone know what they have found and bought and what park it is planning on going to and then wait a whole year before putting it in? Seems like they would just keep it to themselves and then announce it for the year it will be in the park. Like I said, I just don't know how these things work.

I agree. I think at least some if not all will start appearing this year. Maybe I'm just being optimistic.

Kinda like how every major attraction at cedar point has been known far in advance due to news outlets. I dont think they really care about keeping things too secret now since someone is bound to snoop and dig around the net anyway now a day. I dont feel any will come this year because why not mention it to boost season pass sales? I would hope they wait until 2017 as they can really use all these flats as a capital investment for that year. I feel if they do it this year, the ROI wouldn't have a big impact as if they were stand alone additions

My two cents on the locations.
2 in County Fair.
1 at the Yo-Yo location and 1 at the former Thunder Road station location.
2 in RFD.
1 at the mini-golf location and 1 at the old witch doctor location. The concrete pad is still there.
1 in Thrill Zone
Located either to the left or right of Drop Zone.

This is no flat but since cedar fair is buying old rides for carowinds, would anyone like the idea of "white lightning" returning to carowinds? Cedar fair could buy it back from South Africa for next to nothing, include new state of the art trains, maybe a light package. I would ride it.

^ Its far better coaster tech out now-a-day. Besides, just rename cobra in that case.
Also, the space where thunder roads station can hold at least 2 of the flats easily
