So I hate to be that guy...
but does it bother anyone else that the post is in grey while the signature is in black? I think it would look better the opposite way and I'm sometimes finding myself reading signatures instead of posts....
If it's just me whatever I'll adjust....

Click on the button with three bars, click on the arrow next to your user name and look under there.

The desktop version will have a big alert icon at the top of your screen when you receive a private message or other notification.

Currently in the small screen version you to do what RollerBee said to see your alerts. I am hoping to come up with some sort of better alert system for the small screen version so that you will immediately know.

On the mobile version, the navigation button at the top right will now turn green if you have a new private message or notification.

I'm not able to see photos on mobile. Nor does it give the option to see first unread post. Would be cool to have the option of mobile or desktop like the last version. . .

On the topic list page if you hit the + button to the right of the thread title on mobile it will give more details including an option to go to the last post. Not sure why images would not be working. They work fine for me on mobile. Unfortunately it is not possible to have a "view full site" option because the entire site dynamically scales on the fly based on the size of your screening (you can see this on your desktop by resizing your browser window).

I was more so concern about the last read post vs last post. The last post can be 20 post after the last read post.

Clicking the little grey asterisk just to the left of the thread title will take you to the first unread post.
