Hey, like I said i'm not in parks much after dark . . . other than universal and parks during halloween. The only lighting I have seen in person, at a park, is show style lights. Lights that illuminate an area and not so much string/led lights. Maybe I'll feel different if I see it in person. I just think the carnival style lights should stay in a carnival.

Could not disagree more. Lighting can be one of the most transformative tools to enhance a park. I don't know how much ride lighting improves the on-ride experience, but it certainly can create a powerful atmosphere on the midways.
