The map's directory hasn't been updated to match the layout. That's why it says that Panda Express and Dockside Fries are still in the same locations even though the buildings they occupied are no longer pictured.

As for the path behind YoYo, I believe that's the queue for Action Theater, but I could be wrong.

The Map directory also says Harmony Hall moved to the County Fair, or the County Fair is now in box E11 in addition to where it always has been. Panda Express(in its normal spot) is still listed on Carowinds.com.....
Which also lists two Chickie & Petes; the Sports Grill and a Crabfries Express both in Boardwalk. Dockside Fries is listed in the Boardwalk and the Fry Shack in the County Fair. We always see errors on the Park Map every year...
I didn't see Surfer Joes Funnel Cake listed, either I over looked it or maybe it is be listed under Carolina Harbor.

The Dockside Fries building you guys are referring to is the employee cafeteria. Simply fixing an error from last years art.

There are quite a few errors with this years map, here is more I found.
1. Jukebox Diner is labeled as being in Carolina Showplace, supposed to be labeled as Thrill Zone
2. Rita's Italian Ice is completely wrong. Both of them were listed as being listed in Carolina Boardwalk, and the Carolina Boardwalk location was listed as being in the Carolina RFD.
3. Fry Shack (supposedly the replacement for Chicken Shack) is labeled as being in RFD, instead of County Fair.
4. Both Kona Ice locations are listed under Planet Snoopy, one should be in Carolina Showplace.
5.Richochet Ride Photo is labeled in Carolina Showplace, should be in Boardwalk
6. Boo Blasters on Boo hill is listed in County Fair instead of Carolina RFD

..and it looks like no more nightly fireworks.

I'm fairly positive the building I'm referring to is in fact the Dockside Fries building. If you look at the 2015 map at the intersections of H/I and 8/9 you'll see a building with a tan roof. Then if you skip to 9:12 in the below video, you'll see it labelled as "Dockside Fries." That building is no longer pictured on the 2016 map, which is all I was trying to say.

Now people are commenting on the map being wrong, but all of the comments are about the directory. It's possible that the changes to the layout could be wrong, but I don't see why they would be since I'm pretty sure they don't draw these maps from scratch when a nearly identical design (last year's) already exists. My point being that I'm not sure why they would delete both the Panda Express and Dockside Fries buildings if they weren't in fact going away (especially when using last year's map as a starting point for editing, so it's not like they just forgot to add them in - they would have already been there in the first place).

Ok, looking at it again, you're right about the Dockside Fries building being intact and not being the tan building I was referring to before. With that said, I'm still wondering about why they decided to (supposedly) demolish the tan building, because like I said before, its removal does open up a good amount of space...

Isn't that the area where the ride concrete pad was for Black Widow. Maybe one of the flats may go there.

Black Widow was next to the Restrooms, the pad that is currently back there was the Arcade which was Cinema 180. It may or may not(most likely not) have been used for Black Widow. I also wouldn't expect that a backstage building that hasn't been included in more than one park map to be demolished just because it was removed from the park map. It may have been, but likely not. It was likely included by mistake in 2015, it was not on the 2014 map. 3 weeks until ya'll find out for sure, I look forward to the Photo Trip Reports!
