Doesn't seem like we have a thread for this that isn't for Carowinds. Plus I don't want to be the one spamming our “Official 2017 Announcement Thread”, so here's this.

So anyways, the main reason I made this is because of some supposed land clearing over at Kings Island behind Banshee.

Kind of hard to see the land being cleared, but this is a TON of space that could be the home of a pretty major attraction. Or it could just be nothing at all. Anywho, just thought I'd share and create this thread. If there's already something like this, feel free to take it down, mods.

I say just name it the "rumor and speculation thread". You dont wanna have another thread pop up year after year covering the same crap.

Ok let's get back to BGW. Listed below are the teasers in chronological order from top to bottom. Watch every last one of them and post your 3¢, yea I said 3¢. I'll post mine below.

Now for the record, I must say I'm pleased at the effort BGW marketing is putting into to this project. I think we can all agree Tempesto was a tragedy concerning marketing.

Ok so here's my position on things. The first teaser is pretty straight forward. They left the hammer on the table.

Second teaser: looks to be the cover page for the site plans for the project which at this point is rumored for the New France section.

Third teaser? Most interesting to me. The name plate with Larry's name on and the road sign that's was visibly placed the said "Caution extreme drop ahead" yes it also said Mach but you can tell they tried to cover that part with books. Moving on he shows the plans to 2012, the year Verbolten opened. Could this elude back to Lightening Rod as in coaster type? Both LR and Verbolten do have the classic car 1950s theme if your following me. The last clue is Larry in the hideous photoshopped beard which again strengthen the New France section for me.

Last teaser: obviously now we know the attraction is in Ne France around the Le Shoot ride. Maybe it'll go through it at some point. Then there's the two beautiful ladies riding in a classic car again which pushes me to a woody.

So my prediction yea an RMC woody. I know that one reason for BGW not having a traditional woody as in GCI or similar is because of the noise ordinance; however, now that RMC is the new hit thing and have created smoother and quieter coaster I can see this happening. Plus it could be there chance to showcase the T-Rex track.

I heard the plans have leaked but I chose not to dig into finding it clicking links I'm going old school on this and just play along with the marketing team. Plus a friend who works at BGW told me they may actually make the announcement on preview day which March 19th at 10am-6pm. If this is true I'd be forever grateful. No point in dragging it out until fall like most parks.

What's everyone else thoughts? You can be detailed as well.

Verbolten has a classic 50's theme???? Also, sea world/Busch parks are predictable. I think we need to look at what's being built in fla to get some insight on 2017. There is a drought of family coasters at Williamsburg with only Verbolten footing the bill. I personally think they can go a few more years with out a thrill coaster.

I really hope that they'll be receiving something similar to Cobra's Curse. Since I can't just travel the 14 hours to Florida, I can go the 5 hours to Williamsburg. That park could certainly use another family attraction.

Well Coasterbruh maybe when I said 50s I meant sharing more of the old school classic car theme. I do agree that BGW does lack greatly in the family coaster arena and that a similar ride as cobra's curse would be much needed and is actually still in the back of my head as a possibility. The woody is just a bit stronger in my head right now. Remember the background to the title head is wood too.
