General Carowinds discussion

Well . . . I had a chance to experience this attraction today and I really enjoyed it. It seems like a "chill spot" and a place I can see groups visiting quite often.

There are fun things to read while in line

Great details in the 'station'

The pre show introduces you to the ride

Shout out to the 'sponsor'

Lots of color and details in the arena

C'mon, get off your phone

Are you a plant or a zombie?

At the exit there is a gift shop

and some photo ops

Today they are just running one line and not sorting out preference of zombie or plant. Line is moving faster.

Last night the line was really slow because they were having to assign different lines to different parts of the rows. Poor girl at the front was really in the weeds. ( no plant pun intended)

Perhaps he meant the handicap accessible areas where they just have the guns mounted and room for a wheelchair. I saw a mother use one of those on Friday because they miscounted the number of people they let in.

Yes, that's what I was referring to. They are empty spots where a wheelchair can be put. The two seats in between them on both sides are regular seats. I'm assuming those are for a companion if someone is there in a wheelchair.

So I finally got my first ride on this today. Overall I thought it was alright, certainly an improvement over the out of place dinosaur movie and the "wait-why-are-we-still-showing-nickelodeon-content" movie that was previously there. It's definitely targeted towards a younger audience, but I still had fun. The theming is great and the idea of fighting actual people instead of a computer was a great one on the designer's part.

My only complaint with PvZ is that the animation in the beginning and end looks VERY out of place. Almost unfinished.

I think I'm slightly getting addicted to this attraction. I find myself in line every time I visit the park. I'm not a huge gamer as I was in my younger years, however I think it's opening that gamer inside me again.

After riding PvsZ today with my kids, its greatly improved since it first open and was considered "Beta". More items now have textures and its seems like there are more sound effects etc. There was not a lot of people in the theater so it was much easier to tell where you were shooting, I scored about 15,000 with no issue. Still not a big fan of the ride, but I am glad that its better than it was when it opened! I wish there was some sort of sound when you pull the trigger though...I guess it would get annoying if the theater was full..
