Not always, only since about 2003. It used to be sitting on the ground in 2002 where kids could pretend to be a pilot.

Yea I'm here now and it's packed! Glad I just came to eat lol. No riding for me today. Well maybe the gliders. Lol

Just when I said to myself Carowinds needs Mexican food, I walk into harmony hall and see a line for chicken quesadillas now if they had regular tacos and fish or shrimp tacos. Lol

I've been here since opening and been slammed all day. Rode Fury twice, 1 hour wait each time and running all three trains.

went to the park today. completely empty. the PvsZ thing was kinda hard to figure out what u were shooting at. and after the initial test the sound cut out for the guns. Their still working out bugs but they need to rethink how you gun is displayed on the screen.

Yep, I just got back from the park, and barely anyone was there. Every coaster I rode was a walk-on (even Nighthawk), and I got plenty of front-row rides.

PvZ was also a lot more fun than I expected. I played twice, and while I placed 2nd out of everyone the first time, I did a lot worse the second time. I'm not sure if it was problems with the seat I was in, the gun, or if I was just a really lousy shooter the second time around, but my guess is that it's an inconsistency that needs to be worked out.

Am I the only one kinda dissapointed with Fury at night? The sign doesn't light up, some of the L.E.D.s on the lift/station don't work, the lift hill lights are still Panther Blue and I haven't seen the strobes on the bridge dive.

(I haven't been to the park in a few days so I'm not sure if they are working now)

From what I remember, everything was working when I was there (the lift hill and the tunnel were lit up in the same way as they were last year). I don't remember if the sign had the same flickering effect or not, though.

For Fury, the sign is not on at night, the diamond facing the lift hill and que lines there is a lower section of LEDs that's been out since late last season and there's also a section of LEDs on the lower part of the lift that are out. Also the LEDs under the hexagonal shades in the que line are not on either but the tunnel lights are working fine. Some of the LEDs that are used to light the poles at the front near the parking lot are not working. I also noticed the placed white LED lights under the first turn after the lift. Those weren't there last season unless I just never noticed them. Yes I hate the blue panther lights under the lift as well the season is over. lol

I find it weird they left the lights on Intimidator blue but changed Afterburn's lights back clear or white and I also noticed Intimidator's chaser lights blink on the side facing the highway but not the side facing the park. I've never seen that before.

Some of the tvs through the the park are off line and some are online but with no sound if the sounds is working for some it have a lot of static or that high pitch sound like you hear when riding drop zone.

Heads up they're starting to have some glitches with the dining plan and all season cups scanning as active on the passes. Also if you uploaded a pic for renewal make sure your pic is straight and not slightly tilted. They'll deactivate your pass and make you take a new picture. Learned that last night after only going to the park just about 9x already.

The area in green is the new shipping & receiving warehouse.

The brown line currently appears to be a new road based on Wormy's pics. I wonder if they are rerouting Catawba Trace. Hmm...
