I'd take it and ask. The worst they can do is say no and then you buy a new one!

Rode Vortex for the 1st time in like 3yrs. They put new OTSR on the trains as well. I only rode it because I was with a friend who's never been to Carowinds. I definitely got my reminder to why I don't ride it tho.

I've ridden Fury roughly 20 times. With eight cars in each train, it's statistically unlikely that none of those rides would have been in front. And yet, I've never ridden in the front. And they never let me ride in front when I ask, even after six o'clock when the park's really slow. Then I come to the forums and everyone who mentions Fury raves about how you just have to ride in the front. It's kind of annoying. Especially since a trip to Carowinds isn't as easy for me, since I live 3+ hours away.

What's a boy to do?

Tell them they're racist and you're gonna call the chopper news on them if they deny you your God given American right to ride it in the front! It worked for me . . .

Front seat on Fury = season pass, getting to the park and being there when they open the gates and riding as part of the Early ride time.

During one weekend last year, early ride time was walk-on and I rode 3 consecutive times just getting off, walking around and getting back on. That's probably your best bet. When 10:00 hit, it was like a tidal wave of people coming down the path and it went from a walk-on to a LOOOONG wait. We were satisfied with 3 rides in less than 15 total minutes. We decided to move on.

I can't do that because I live far away and it's a real hassle getting to the park. I'm lucky if I can visit more than once a year. The driving distance alone is reason not to get a season pass. I'm just saying, it would be nice to be able to wait for the front after going through all the trouble that I do just to get to the park. And I think most people visiting from far away would agree with me. It's personally a bit of a moot point though, as I'm probably not going back to the park any time soon.

Lol.

I'm a white male so I doubt this will go over well, but I'll be sure to let you know how it goes.
