Just go to a Toys R Us. There is a wide variety of Viewmasters today. Most of them are themed to different children shows like Thomas, Spongebob, or Nemo.

I went to walmart today and they had them there. They even had one that you could use like a projector and show the slides on the wall.

I have purchased over 100 Carowinds related things from Ebay. I would like to purchase more but recently there has been a huge decline on stuff posted or stuff i already have.

I would really like to have the old Carowinds viewmaster reels.
I would also highly recommend that you purchase a viewmaster
to see them because it kind of makes you feel like you're really
there. I got outbid the last time I tried to get them on ebay. They
are a really neat item to have if they are in good condition.

To you lucky blokes that have them, go buy a viewmaster. You need
to be able to see them properly, the way they were meant to be seen.

A 1974 Carowinds brochure is up for auction:

<a href='http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=13878&item=3951789857&rd=1' target='_blank'>http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...3951789857&rd=1</a>

Also included is a 1972 Opryland USA Brochure. I would consider this quite valuable since 1972 was Opryland's opening season.

Dang, If I was older I would get that on a heartbeat. Too bad I am just 13. My parents won't let me do that kind of stuff. :(

For you Ghost Town In The Sky fans (Maggie Valley) here are a couple really neat postcards recently listed on <a href='http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6146127162' target='_blank'>ebay</a>.

From the times I visited, I don't think I've ever seen 4 trams on the incline at once like that.

Thanks for pointing that out.

Wow. I think the park had more modern trams in the later years. I'd like to know when they took it down to two tracks as well.

Very early pictures no doubt. The first one doesn't even have the chairlift installed, or the trees cleared for it to be built for that matter. :o
