Better Amos than me, however can the new GM bring one KD ride with her. I heard that is how we landed the Flyers from KI.

It's actually not that funny.
Now I'm convinced that it is my fault.

How in the hell could it really be your fault . . . lets be logical here. The guy took another job in corporate. What ounce of that could have anything to do with you?

For the most part, I understand your sarcasm. But sometimes it can be too real and indistinguishable. However, after meeting her earlier and getting to know her, I no longer feel that way. . .

That would have been a nightmare! Knotts needs that . . . Being Disneyland is like 50 ft from them.

Carowinds isn't a park big on the "experience" as much as parks like Disney, universal and sea world parks are. People dont come to carowinds to be taken to another world like they do say Disney and knotts. Knotts, believe it or not, was on the same scale as Disneyland at one point but lost that luster when purchased by Cedar Fair. In order to get that back, they would need someone with the experience a Disney parks can offer. Imagine if someone came to carowinds and start doing the additions like knotts has been getting. The crowd would cry "boring" and not come back lol. You see how people where really excited to get a renovated log flume and mountain train ride over there.

Hmm if I recall correctly, E. Pat Hall was inspired by a trip to Disney and got the idea for Carowinds because he wanted to have something like that in the Carolinas, so I guess theoretically yes? I'm not really all that knowledgeable about the park's past; I've definitely heard it used to be a lot more themed, but I don't know that I've ever heard people say it was anywhere near Disney on the theming/"take you to another world" scale. (Old people: What do you think?)

But regardless, the important part is I don't think that speaks to what type of park it actually is today. It's currently more of an amusement park than a theme park for sure.
