Don't mind me just sitting cooling off, waiting on the Cirque Image show. Should be about 30mins long. I'm kind of excited.

If you call the park employees ushers then yes they do.

FamousAmos wrote:I was at the 7pm show yesterday. I really enjoyed watching it.

Amos you were there? You got footage with that gopro didn't you?

I think one more theater should be built nothing large but a small theater for another indoor show. I think Carowinds is the only park I've been to with just one show theater.

That's why I hated seeing the original Harmony Hall go away. That said, the current Harmony Hall offers a nice music show (or at least they had one last Tuesday.) It was nice and cool and also cool that you could watch the show over a beer and grub.

I know what you mean though. It would be nice to have another theater where they could dim the lights and you actually have a produced show. (With maybe some wine.. :))

Just got back from the park today. Rode Fury 6x (non-consecutively), Carolina Cyclone, Carolina Goldrusher, Carolina Cobra, Dodg'ems, Afterburn, Woodstock Express, Peanuts Pirates, Intimidator 6x (non-consecutively), Windseeker, Drop Tower, Hurler, and Woodstock Whirlybirds.

Notes:

-Intimidator was extremely good today. I got some excellent floater airtime cresting and dropping down each hill, both in the back and middle seats. Must be the weather.

-Riding Fury gave me a bit of a headache. The rattle was very noticeable, and due to the intensity/speed of the ride, my head kept slamming into the seat. And yet, I still rode it six times. Because come on, it's Fury.

-Greyed out in the front seat of Fury, and towards the end of the ride, all I could smell was my own blood. But I was very dehydrated, can't blame the ride for being intense. :D

-Carolina Cobra was a lot smoother than I remembered, but it's still not really my type of ride.

-Hurler was alright. It had some decent airtime in the front, but I still can't help but think it would be a lot more thrilling if they gave it a Ghostrider-style update.

-Woodstock Express is the park's best woodie. Especially because of that second drop. You get some nice ejector in the back!

-Peanuts Pirates is great.

-It seemed like there were a lot of foreign employees at the park today. Did Carowinds start a program recently?

-I think I saw Bee at Windseeker, but I opted not to say 'hi.' Because come on, it's Rollerbee.

 Oh, well alright.

Good to hear Windseeker is back up, I have an unhealthy affection for Windseeker(s).

I'm at the park and I thought I saw Rollerbee, too, in the waterpark. I definitely kept going. :)

Fury's vibration in row 2 was shaking my sunglasses off my head!

Saw Amos. Vortex was closed and they were trying to find something for him to do! :)

My Crew was there today to. We stayed in the waterpark the entire day being that it was hotter than h*ll. BTW I've never seen the waterpark that crowded on a week day. I'm guessing Carowinds will have a good increase in attendance due to the waterpark expansion.
