On an unrelated note, does anyone know why Norfolk Southern is so reluctant to give up the land next to Thrill Zone?

Typically railroads are reluctant to give up rights of way because of how hard it can be to get new rights of way and build new lines. In an industrial area they will cling to every inch because they might need it in the future. That's been my experience.

Out of all the years I've been coming to shows at Carowinds this is the first time I've seen the theater full to capacity. Maybe because it's the weekend and a holiday weekend at that.
