Illegal? Nope. Morally not right... depends on who you ask. We were granted special access to the ride on the ride's final day of operation. I just can't see any reason to sell that. Not to mention, I assume no one here will buy it because we all already have the same thing. I can't imagine there are buyers lining up for this on eBay.

I was lucky enough to get some large boards during tear down. Sad to think some people took those tours just to make a buck on ebay for splinters, buttons and posters. Best I remember they were from Fort Lawn SC. Those were our memories and they were priceless and irreplaceable. CREAM
Geez, I was going to keep a piece for myself. I just didn't want people to think I was weird for having a poster of a rollercoaster in my room. I thought I could sweeten the deal by adding pieces of the ride.
I absolutely LOVED Thunder Road - I'm so sorry it's gone. But I think the park is looking better than ever. I'm glad the Racer is still at Kings Island (closest thing to Thunder Road) and I think it's even OLDER than Thunder Road was (more acid rain in CLT?), but whatever.
Glad to hear Rebel Yell is running smooth. Unfortunately, I've only been to KD one time and that was the first year of Hypersonic XLC (My first launch coaster).
Back then, I would swear that Rebel Yell had square wheels. I'm sure it's had a little TLC since then.

Yea - I saw your KD vid and remember you mentioning that. I guess I should have said closest thing to TR for me is the racer at KI. In all total, I've probably ridden both around the same amounts of times (give or take) and I always felt like I was riding TR or vice versa.
