But good news about the flats, though it's not really much of a surprise to anyone.

They should remove Dinosaurs Alive and make that area a station for a chair lift that goes across the new County Fair and has a drop of point somewhere in that vicinity. That would be excellent and sort of fit the theme. Ahhh...just my personal wishing.

To add some intrigue to it:

 :-D
Maybe I should have taken the bet.

Honestly it could be nothing, some of those markings were there before Thunder Road came down. There were marking around Whitewater that have yet to amount to a hill of beans.

They know exactly what is going on- the site plan would have to be finished for any sort of rendering to be presented/start the permitting process.

I would say the "unconfirmed" part is whether they will be relocated or scrapped. That water slide tower is old. I think this may be the third intiration of water slides in that tower. Originally that was a racing slide on these little raft boards when the area became Riptide Reef. You could ride them in street clothes and stay relatively dry.

I would be very happy if they trimmed back the waterpark that's been encroaching on the park forever. Already killed Thunder Road and the Frenzoid lagoon.

I wonder about the longevity of the disconnected "heated" small pool that is were Frenzoid used to be.... Linking a pathway back there would make Old County Fair less of a dead end.

How on earth could the park not know?

Also, I feel like I'm in the minority here but I absolutely love Cobra's new name/paint. The name fits into the fair theme but still pays homage to the coaster's original name within the park.

I 100% disagree on the waterslide moving thing. That doesnt even make sense. Why would they put a flat ride in the waterpark barriers. It will fit just fine without moving anything. The top scan will fit nicely where the ladder game io. If anything they would take out that food stand outside the water park to put one of the rides there... Its usually closed anyway isnt it? Maybe next year after this is done, that other entrance to the waterpark inside the park will be gone. If I recall they were "still deciding" if it was going to stay or go, obviously they decided for it to stay....

I don't mean to whine, as it looks like a great edition.....but why does the Carolina cobra have to get a name change? I mean I know the ride is not going to change at all, but I can't stand the name "the flying Cobras". I don't get why this is changed. Because the new name is less "Carolina" than what we have now. It just bugs me for some reason lol. I liked the theme and color.

Anyone else?
