But they do . . .
Fitting for any Carolina County Fair, guests will look to the sky for an air show featuring the daring aviation maneuvers of The Flying Cobras.

I look at this as the tempesto of the south.

Just noting that in 2006 The Abyss(1989) was repainted after having all the slide pieces removed from the tower/supports. Sidewinder was added in 1997, maybe they are waiting to decide after inspecting the slide.

I think the Cobras are the individual cars, not the train.

I'm not crazy about the name but I LOVE the theme.

Lesson time. . . fighter jets are commingly known as "Cobras". More so popular during WWII. A lot of fairs are coupled with air shows. This could also explain the red white and blue new color scheme it is gonna have. So, to make a long story short the park actually put some thought into this whole flying cobra and its not just some silly name as some of you may suggest.

Yeah, the cars looked individually colored in the concept sketch.

It would be a crime for them not to use that airplane by Cyclone's turnaround.

Well that's much better. I hadn't seen a red white and blue color scheme. Is there a picture of that? Still not too thrilled about it as we already have another ride themed around fighter jets. Different fighter jets, but still. I kinda liked the snake theme :P

Can you guys show me the sketch? Can't find it.

That makes me love this even more!

I'm really hoping the park goes all out with retheming the coaster. Maybe some props along the queue...
