I like my idea a little bit better. :D

Palmetto Pier, a Myrtle Beach Boardwalk-inspired section of the park!

First, I would replace the sign with one similar to the Boardwalk sign at Knott's. As seen here: Image

Then, I would replace all the asphalt with boards similar to the ones on the current boardwalk. As seen here: Image

Next, I would remove Yo Yo and reroute PvZ's queue to allow for expansion in the area.

Then, I would give Dodg'ems a facade upgrade and relocate Southern Star to the expansion space in the picture above. I would also relocate the games to the expansion space. In its place, I would construct a few new ponds.

If Cedar Fair were to find a Ferris Wheel in Japan, I would place it in Thunder Road's station plot. I would also consider placing Southern Star in front of it. A new pathway would open by the Ferris wheel into Carolina Harbor, creating a nice flow between the areas. Instead of going from a coastal-themed water park to a County Fair, you would go from a coastal-themed water park to a boardwalk.

Finally, I would place Palmetto Trees EVERYWHERE, almost to the point of overkill, so that guests know that they're in South Carolina.

I have updated my wish list for Carolina harbor
Image
First a new tornado slide that's for people who don't have other people with to ride them with
ImageNext is a new mammoth slide with tight turns
Imagea New massive tube slide would also look nice something like this
Imagea mat racer would also look nice in Carolina harbor and are massive people eaters
Imagethen of course a new water coaster that would be one of the main draws.
Imagea mammoth water coaster would also look nice
Then finally the tornado from wild water kingdom

I very much agree with this. I loved that part of the initial renderings.

I also would like to see the volleyball courts come in. That seemed like such a great touch to the water park.

So my continued wishlist that I still haven't gotten yet - a single pass for Carowinds. If you want gold, you pay for gold, if you want platinum you pay for platinum but your physical pass stays the same. We do have nifty things such as computers and databases. Since your pass gets scanned for parking and the park, why do we have to have different physical passes depending on what you choose for the season? Having to switch passes each year if you change from silver to gold, etc., is really a waste of resources and employees at the pass processing center.

My newest wishlist item is:

Since it appears Cedar Fair is in talks with Rocky Mountain Construction, I'd love to see a new launch coaster in Nighthawk's spot featuring RMC's T-Rex track. Mack would be my second option, but all of RMC's coasters carry a 48" height requirement where as Blue Fire and Helix carry a 52" height requirement. And the more coasters the park has that most families can ride together, the better. Plus, while Blue Fire and Helix look exceptional, Lighting Rod looks absolutely insane. And if we can get something that looks half as good as that, I would be very happy. :D

Given the downtime on RMC's current launch coaster I think I'll pass on anything launched from them. I do agree that we could use some rides with lower height requirements, but I don't think it's the end of the world if we don't get any soon.

Nighthawk isn't the best coaster in the world but I see no reason to remove it given its still fairly popular.

Yes in case I haven't mentioned it before, I'd say a launch and a serious wooden coaster are the park's most glaring omissions at the moment, with a launch taking slight precedence (since technically I suppose Hurler does, in fact, count as a woodie  )

That being said, I'd really really like to see a giant frisbee (it would probably make the park's already stellar skyline even better, too). Though I'm not too sure how realistic any of this is. If I'm not mistaken I think I read somewhere that they cost nearly as much as a relatively inexpensive roller coaster. Could someone more knowledgeable help me out here?

I would like to see a Ferris Wheel, along the lines of what Cedar Point has with the light package. That would add another family ride and also add to the skyline.

I would think/hope they would have learned their lesson or they've finally figured out how to work with a launch. Lightning Rod looks like it's been running consistently.

Once they get a Screamin Swing, River Battle, Log flume, Giant Frisbee, Guantlet back, an inverter, an over the top woodie, and a chicken and waffle stand I'll be a in heaven and I'll be vested into Carowinds for for life.
