Permits will reveal all.

I would love the County Fair Area to be that entire midway to Windseeker. Not really sure why they crammed it all in the corner. An arcade rework would be awesome too.... works well with fair theming

It would be nice to see those games relocated to County Fair (looks like they will be up next to Rock n' Roller in the concept art. That area can be a little crowded and those game stands block Whitewater Falls.

PLEASE BRING BACK THE GOBLET TOSS. (and Bowler Roller, plz)

Funny. I think it's the exact opposite. The overview seems to me like the one where the artist/marketing dept. wanted to make things "more interesting" (as you put it) and showed all of the rides closer together to fit them all in one overhead shot. That entire rendering shows pathways that look more narrow than the rest of them, and several other inconsistencies.

My money—metaphorically speaking—is on the wave swinger being roughly where mini-golf used to be. That makes the most sense and excuses a lot of the questions the overhead shot has raised regarding placement of the new rides in relation to the slides and other structures.

That being said, these are just renderings. They're far from exact and we likely won't know EXACTLY where anything is going until they place them (or the permits come out). Same goes for the colors, landscaping improvements, tree additions, and the string lights/signage. Hopefully all of those extra touches come to fruition but, like the rendered volleyball court in Carolina Harbor, nothing is an absolute certainty until it's actually installed.

I think it would look a lot more dramatic having that walkway in between the two rides. None of the rides really take up that much real estate, even with queue lines.

I also don't believe that section will be cramped. There is plenty of space and what about Granny who said Fences may have to be moved? Hmm.....

Wormy, did you actually go to the park on a Saturday? You is a brave man.

If it helps you out, the Swinger will be mostly on the state line. Not perfectly center though.

EDIT:
Also, in reference to the size of the expansion from the previous page.
You have to think about it like this. Not everything that the park builds each year is for the guests, and is also not announced. By which I mean they also add things for the associates... which I am very thankful for.

When I first questioned the possible removal of the slides, it was my thought that they would be putting it right at the edge of the state line to keep it in NC (so I agree). That would mean NC permits & inspections only instead of splitting them...not that it would be that big a deal I suppose otherwise.

I'm sure you may be making a reference to some improvements for the associates that we are not aware of. However that comment did remind me that they put in a new parking lot for employees. I did forget about some of the other not so obvious infrastructure improvements.
