Attendance in 2005 was 2.14 million, attendance now is just above 2 million. Between 2006 and 2014 attendance as lower than 2 million.

And the statistics to support your claim???

Actually those are the prices from the fall because my family renewed our season passes in the fall for that same time period minus 2006.

I have a dozen or so for the Season Pass flyer from 2002, 2003 and 2004. Do you want me to scan or take pictures of all them?

Edit: I did manage to find one for a regular season pass at 54.99 which does not include parking. Carowinds doesn't sell regular(silver) passes in the fall no more. Gold passes from the Paramount era included Parking as does CF.

Looks like removal of Southern Sidewinder has started, based on the webcam I think they are clearing out the loading area. it appears the first section of the slide has been removed and is sitting in the slide just to the left of the tower.

It kind of sucks that it looks like we're losing this complex. It's one of the only intermediate slide complexes in the park, so if it's not relocated to somewhere else in the park, I hope we can see a similar complex be built in the near future.

Not that I loved the ride, but it was nice having a relaxing pair of slides to contrast the more violent ones like Storm Surge.

What if the removal of Golf and the white deck is connected the removal of these slides, maybe in the future Carolina Harbor will get more improvements in this area. Or maybe the Breakdance was going into the Golf area.

Also says work is going to be done "From Wings restaurant to Carolina Goldrusher", so either Goldrusher is getting previously unannounced work done on it or they meant Cobra.

I appreciate how Carowinds hasn't just been plopping down rides, rather they are rejuvenating entire areas as they ramp up the park.

Carolina Goldrusher doesn't really fit with the boardwalk area so maybe they are extending the new County Fair to encompass that ride.
