After walking by there today (from both Cobra and from Sharky's) it definitely looks much more roomier that it used to. A vast improvement already in my opinion.

I was watching the webcam for a few minutes during lunch today just in time to see a tree coming down. I hate losing more trees.

That's the only thing about it. I certainly hope that more trees will be planted soon. We just have to keep in mind that trees take several years to grow (unless you transplant an existing tree which can be rather tricky at times).

Josh just wanted to mention what we're all thinking. Trees take time to grow. Some trees are in the way of attraction plans. It's a shame the design plan couldn't incorporate the existing "grown" trees and cut out 20+ years of waiting for a shade tree to grow up.

So what do we want, shade trees or rides? (Both)

Well technically a fair/carnival doesn't have much or any trees at all. lol

Most of the area they have cleared will be walkway or rides. I think they will plant some to trees along the new boundry of the water park.

In other news, Cobra has fresh blue paint on the lift.

If the age is an issue, seems like was a waste to paint it for only one year. I wonder what the "other variables" are?

Yeah, kinda baffles me on why they'd spend the money on paint just to have it open for one year. Seems like they'd just remove it since that's what happened to the mini golf course (thankfully).
