General Carowinds discussion

It's a franchise. And since Cedar Fair has Famous Dave's at CP (not sure if they have them at any other parks) then I'm sure he is/was very familiar with how the franchise is ran, so not a huge surprise. I'm more surprised he seems to have stayed in the Charlotte area (but not really).

"People gotta eat..."

I like the idea of a Moe's so close to Carowinds. I'll pass on the Famous Dave's. And of course there will be trees, but they will never get a chance to grow into shade trees, they will be dug up and replaced every time they reach 8' tall. :)

Trees are a liability so of course the franchise will be devoid of them. The real question is how quickly will the building fade and how long will Bart wait to repaint it?

Warning: :sarcasm:
Because a non-complete clause just expired or this is one of the planned steps towards the Hotel/Resort.

I wonder if Bart still has connections in Cedar Fair, inside knowledge anyone?

Edit: Forgot to add emoji.

Well I wish they would also add a Frisch's Big Boy and a Skyline Chili like they have near Kings Island in Ohio. And they also have White Castle up there. But I suppose here in the South it would have to be a Krystal.

^I'm from Cincinnati originally and KI was my home park until I relocated here. I am a proud Season Passholder of Carowinds for 9 years now and would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have my hometown food staples here in Charlotte. Interestingly enough, I found the closest I can get to Frisch's Big Boy is at Zack's on South Blvd. (called the Zack's special, I believe). Never liked Krystal growing up on White Castle and get my Skyline Chili fix via Publix in South End.
As for the other Ohio food fix, House of Pizza on Central comes fairly close to LaRosa's Pizza but I have yet to find a Greater's Ice Cream or United Dairy Farmer equal.

For the most part it is, when I lived in Ohio most of my friends would choose Gold Star over Skyline but I purchase Skyline since Gold Star isn't available here.
I made an attempt to purchase from their website a few months back, but HOLY COW $20.00 for six cans of chili  ...no thanks!
