But, I guess with all the electrical requirements it makes sense, plus the concrete may not have been sturdy enough to support an attraction. Now begs the question, how many more mature trees to fall before it's all said and done?

I had a feeling most of the concrete would be ripped out. The midway have to shift more closer to the waterpark because the troika will pretty much be right in the middle of what was the current midway. I think they're done with removing trees. It should've only been two islands that were to be removed. The one right in front of cobra and the one that was next to the smaller one on the side of cobra where the troika will be placed. Of course the trees that seperated the waterpark from the dry park along the then fence were going.

Looks as if they are painting the columns now according to the webcam, but it looks like the color blue instead of red. (unless my eyes are deceiving me)

^ I see. It is in fact red.

EDIT: Maybe I'm just tired which causes my mind to roam, however with the new county fair being added which I'm just so hyped about the top scan and troika, is the RFD section no null and void? All they need now is a screamin swing, frisbee, flume, and octopus/monster ride and I'm a happy camper as far as flats are concerned.

I think that they may rename the old county fair to the RFD.

So then, what would happen to the current RFD? Would they just retheme that?

No, think of it like this:
The County Fair (theme) left York County and set up in Mecklenburg County. The RFD will likely absorb the old County Fair, which by the way, the County Fair was originally officially called "Country Crossroads County Fair".

At our county fair this one had an infinite water supply for vomit clean-up.

So after watching a few Mondial Top Scan vids on YouTube, I made a few observations....
1) All the vids were of parks or fairs in Germany or the UK
2) All Top Scan models play very loud dance music to heighten the experience.
3) They ALL have very impressive LED lighting packages
4) All of the ride times were around 2-4 minutes depending on which fair or park they were in.
and
5) they all seem to be spinning at a relatively fast pace.

Do we (enthusiasts, not necessarily the GP) have any indication that Cedar Fair will be applying all of the above to the four new rides coming in 2017? Just curious...
