I thought the Carowinds was cleaner this year, and they started planting flowers again. But, the park just seemed different as a whole. I guess I don't like the "new" direction of Paramount Parks.

Anyway... I'd say it was my best year in years... probably ever.

I visited the park more this year than any other year I'm sure.

I personally think the park was alot better than ever before.

The new management really came in a did a complete 360.

Alot more shows than before which were also alot better than before.

Re-modeling the Theatre and finally putting a show in there after so many years.

The park overall seemd to run alot smoother and be more customer friendly not to mention alot cleaner.

I'm somewhat excited about next year and how the new AS will look not to mention the extra parks operating days.

A lot more shows????? Are you kidding? Trust me, this BY FAR (other than 2003) was the worst year for shows and entertainment at Carowinds. This season, they had 3...only three shows. The only show in my view to "make it" this season was the country show. Beach show and Magic of the Movies were flops. Maybe every other area was an improvement for Carowinds in 2004, but the entertainment wasn't up to par. Buget cuts Buget cuts. Remember back in the old days when Carowinds had atleast two major indoor shows and several out door shows with stages and ample area for sitting.

On the other hand, hopefully 2005 will be better. Although for the first time since sliced bread there will not be a country show, the 2005 entertainment plans include a big show in the Paramount Theatre called "The School of Rock" and the "new stage" in Animation Station will be host to a kids show called "Slime Time Live!" Also, karaoke will make it's way back to Carowinds after a years absence. Though improvement seems to be on the horizon, Carowinds has a LONG way to go before it has good shows like it did throughout the '90s

I see what your talking about. I completely forgot about the shows of old.

Paramount on Ice was the best indoor show along with Graveyard shift.
The show that i really liked the most was Rock The House. Just amazing entertainment.

I agree, maybe some day we will have entertainment that good again.

Yeah they do need more shows. That movie show how is not going to cut it.
