Well looks to me painting has begun on the top scan. Now you can probably say the original light panels being put back on is looking to be a no go and done deal.

You seen what I typed. The bulbs that go in the lighting strips near the chains are not there. LOL

Ok, I noticed the ride carriage base, on electro, was blue. Hadn't noticed that before. Wonder if that would be the extent of it? Also looked like they added a logo to the part that joins to the structure where the ride rotates.

^ Yea they painted it today. I refuse to believe they are going to just leave it like that. I'm sure the top counter weight will be painted red. Smh.

I do wish they went with a less obvious color scheme. I mean cobra is blue so why not go with another color like purple, fushia, lime, I don't know. There's some many other colors to chose from is all in saying. *ends rant*

I was driving on the employee service road behind the park and noticed that there are still a lot of LED light panels laying in the area where the new attractions were laying last year.

Lighting tests for Rock n Roller are going on right now.

Just some observations from the "Coming in 2017" video at bottom of page.

0:29 the video shows a light package on Troika, (prolly KI)
0:53 the video states Rock n Roller will have "high energy tunes & spectacular lighting" but then quickly cuts to a shot of CP's Matterhorn light package??
1:00 shows an additional shot of the LED package on Troika (again, prolly KI)
1:02 Daytime rendering shows no lights under canopy of Zephyr (as pproteinc mentions above)
1:04 pans back and there are now "indeed" lights under canopy??

The video does not mention lighting on any of the remaining three rides and I know its only showing us an artists rendering of what's to come, so I guess we'll simply have to wait and see what CF decides to do on these new rides from a lighting perspective within the next five days.
I was really looking forward to that area being electric at night. (read: visual sensory overload)

Another thought....perhaps they are thinking with all the string lights hanging over the midway in County Fair, that it would be too much and decided to reduce the light packages on the rides.... I just don't know.
