What about that blinking light at Myrtle Turtle or Beach Bites near the top center of the live feed. That light bothers me.

That structure is a drink refill building.

Thank you, carolinaman for answering my question. I was wondering what that little structure was, too. Electrospin is bothering me right now. The paint job is pretty bad, and the lights aren't on and they haven't even tested the ride once-from what I have seen. I'm just praying everything's going to be perfect and ready and good for preview night and opening day. We do know how Carowinds ca surprise us and get it together at the last minute, though...

You guys are so critical. I know everyone is looking forward to trying all the new flats, but dang.. That is the risk with going on opening day. If one of them isn't up, at least the others will be. We aren't talking about one major thing like Fury.
Even if that happens, I'm sure they will be up and running for everyone's enjoyment soon.

But hey, I not big on flats, so maybe I just don't understand.. lol

Exactly.....they've had 4 months so what's the problem here? lol

Anyway one of my friends at the park sent me these photos from last night's training session of Zephyr.

Not to mention, the Top Scan has been completed for a month and has been sitting there. Hopefully they can at least get it up and running for the press. IMO, that ride is the signature for the new section and if it is not ready for the media, it would be a missed opportunity for publicity.

Heck, Knotts just started installing Sol Spin.

And Knotts is a year round park so they don't ever advertise rides will be open on "opening day" or "preview night." All we know for Knotts is that Sol-Spin opens Spring 2017. That's anytime between March and June.

Year round parks construct while the park is obviously open vs seasonal parks which they try to get everything done in the "off season".
