I think we can see a lot more areas "opened" up around the park and in the water park (that may be happening this year). As far as a coaster, we can kinda say 2 will open next year. Hasn't it been, lately, only a couple coasters open in the chain a year? I do have a gut feeling planey snoopy is up next in the reno department.

I will make two predictions. One will be what I WANT to happen, and the other will be what I THINK will happen.

WANT:
A new coaster in place of WWF (RIP). Dont really care what kind. Dive machine or woodie would be cool. Also an overall upgrade to south gate area/old county fair I feel is much needed. Just looks run down and outdated IMO.

THINK:
Planet Snoopy expansion/upgrade similar to KD's.

Here are my 3 year predictions.
2018: GCI woodie in WWF spot. The entrance will be in the old County Fair section to bring traffic back to that area. Guys, it makes perfect sense... Why spend money on Plantz Vs Zombies when you have no traffic to that area?

There's a lot of games there as well. Why spend the money on staffing if the crowds aren't in that area of the park.

The GCI would be around the same size as Mystic Timbers. Bye bye Sand Dune Lagoon!

I would prefer a GCI over a B&M dive any day!

I'm predicting a few things for the 2018 season:
1) Vortex Conversion to Floorless
2) Further Site Development in the Water Park (no new attractions, or maybe one slide at least)
3) (Possibly) a Planet Snoopy Rehab/Expansion
4) If Only the Vortex Conversion happens, then I'll even go ahead and add a GCI to this list (or move the GCI to 2019).
5) Other small park enhancements...

To help gauge what we can expect next year, has Cedar Fair said anything in regards to how long they plan on extending the multi-million dollar expansion? I know the 2014-2016 plan was ditched for a 2014-till whenever plan, but I was wondering if they ever came out and said when "till whenever" is.
