General Carowinds discussion

Meh, that was virtually the same ride with a cross over here and there. The conversions drastically change the dynamics of the previous coaster so if that would have been the only viable option for thunder road I would have rather have a ground up. I wonder if they would consider converting any other woodie in the chain. The only viable option I see would be grizzly over at great america.

I think they just did a rehab and reprofile on grizzly and it's supposedly not terrible. Neither woody at CW are too popular. But it seems like they're getting rid of painful rides and there aren't many left in the chain

RMC Mean Streak opening this year! I will shocked if you are right!

wasn't it confirmed already RMC when RMC trucks showed up at Castaway Bay last September, then track started showing up?

As for where I think four coasters are going:
1. Cedar Point (RMC)
2. Hurler (RMC)
3. Knotts Berry Farm (RMC T-Rex, it would fit well in Boomerang's area, then you can also fit it outside the plaza relatively well)
4. California's Great America (Intamin Impulse, either a new coaster, or a relocation of Wicked Twister, most likely new due to the fact I've seen no markers around the area of Wicked Twister, and the rumors have started to die down around the area.)
