Boomerang is being taken apart not torn down. The trains for it were apparently as crapped so wherever it goes I'm guessing new trains (not a surprise).

Windseeker was going to replace Sky Cabin, Sky Cabin hasn't operated since it had to evacuated earlier this year. Cal State OSHA wouldn't allow Windseeker to reopen due to how long it took to evac it, I heard that the case may be similar for Sky Cabin.

If Sky Cabin is removed that will open a larger space if combined with Boomerang's. Also with Boomerang out of way, that MAY open space for Sky Cabin to be dropped similar to Space Spiral at CP.

^Someone who claims to work for Knott's Maintenance Dept says they are working to reopen Sky Cabin on a Knott's fan page on Facebook. He also says they can't remove it because it was designated a historical landmark (of which I can find NO proof of online by ANY city, county, state, etc site). I think he's just trying to keep people guessing.

I posted on another forum that its possible they will drop Sky Cabin in Boomerangs spot once that land is cleared to use that space a few weeks ago.

Historical Landmarks can be removed by their owner so that's not true.

Boomerang's land is already spoken for. Has been for a while.

They could still use the Boomerang land to drop the tower before constructing whatever its going to be used for should they choose to do that.
