I think it will be a planet snoopy expansion, removal of Dino's , new entrance to waterpark, and some general upgrades etc., which hopefully includes the parking lot! Hope to see some teasers, but if there arent any at this point, its probably nothing to major, which is fine they have done a lot the last couple of years so they may want to invest in some other parks next year.

I don't know about a new water park entrance. We just got a new one 2 years ago. I think we might see a new slide or new amenity in the water park. And I agree with the other predictions.

I assume he means a new gate from Carowinds to Carolina Harbor not parking lot to Carolina Harbor. There again, I think the one they built for Carolina Harbor is too small.

I'm not sure that we will see more slides for a few more years since we had a waterpark expansion last year, but anything is possible.

I feel if you are standing you can kind of push back up when you are pushed down but if you are sitting you have less control over that. Just my opinion

Yea I am referring to inside the park. I think if they shifted the entrance over to where white waterfalls was there is already the nice structure there from WWF queue... that would be a perfect entry. The space where WWF was would be perfect to add another slide and some other things in the water park....

As you can see from this snip, kind of would have made more sense to rip out wwf when they were expanding originally, but hey what do I know.....

Yea I am referring to inside the park. I think if they shifted the entrance over to where white waterfalls was there is already the nice structure there from WWF queue... that would be a perfect entry. The space where WWF was would be perfect to add another slide and some other things in the water park....

They also took out the golf course (I think last year) and that gives you some extra space with WWF land

I feel like a lot of people have become accustomed to receiving massive additions every year, which is fair given that every season from 2014 onwards has been huge. However, keep in mind that these years were an expansion, not a new normal. The fact that said expansion carried on into 2017 is crazy enough in itself. This in mind, it is looking likely that Carowinds won't be getting another massive expansion some of us have become used to. This doesn't mean it's time to start scrambling and drawing up pipe-dreamed plans on how the park can go big for 2018.

Something will happen next year. Will it be as big as what we've seen over the past four years? Who knows. If it's not, then so be it. I'm still taking in all we've gotten since 2014. Most parks would not even dream of receiving in ten years what Carowinds has received in three.

Listen, I'd love for these huge years to last forever, but I also like to be realistic. If your "sources" prove to be correct, then I'll be one happy dude. But if the dippin' dots dude lied to you, don't be shocked. You being new has nothing to do with my skepticism.
