Carowinds Connection

I know this is supposed to be a Carowinds only forum but we often go astray and this is one.

Has anyone kept up with Tomb Raider at PKD or Italian Job(s) ?

I could not find much at PKI except for the ground clearing but at PCW they have some pics <a href='http://www.canadas-wonderland.com/corpinfo.jsp' target='_blank'>Here at PCW</a> .

For the Tomb Raider go <a href='http://www.kingsdominion.com/corpinfo_pressphotos_const.jsp' target='_blank'>Here to PKD</a> .

Both are shaping up but to me it looks like they just sat T.R. kind of in between Avalanch and Volcano. Looks odd to me

Lets not forget <a href='http://www.americacoasters.com/Construction/PGA/10705/Pages/pg1.php' target='_blank'>PGA</a>! I am pretty excited about all of the additions and am currently planning a trip to pki and pkd! I, and this is just me, dont like seeing construction updates until I can see some track or something worth seeing lol lol.

Are you sure? I was thinking TR was to the left and front of Avalanche, not between Avalanche and Volcano. I may be wrong though. <_<

There is no space between Avalanche & Volcano. TR is being build to the left of Avalanche.

^ Did you actually look at the pictures? It is in between and in front of Volcano and Avalanche, although moreso in front of Volcano.

I did look and looked again. Is that not to the left of Avalanche? Maybe i'm looking at it wrong. Yes it's in front of Volcano but it's to the left of Avalanche right?

If you look at the 1st and 2nd pictures, just to the right and behind the right support of TR is that not the lift of Avalanch?

Also in the 3rd picture on the left hand side is that not the back of the entrance to Volcano?

<a href='http://www.pkdplace.com/index.php?page=pkdnov07' target='_blank'>PKD Place</a> has more construction pics. I am all confused now.

He says Volcano grill was torn down which is directly in front of Volcano.

An overhead picture would clear it up.

Just some information but <a href='http://www.coastercrew.com/kingsisland01122005.mp3' target='_blank'>HERE</a> is a audio clip about the construction and other things about what is happining at PKI. Maureen Kaiser is the female being interviewed, however the gentleman said something at the end that I think im going to consider doing from now on.
