It was destroyed. It had actually been on sale for the past two years, but nobody wanted it because it was so old and the trough wasn't in the best shape.
The logs were sold to another park, though I'm not sure which one.
The control panel was given as a gift to one of Dollywood's former GMs. He plans to wire it up so it can control his model train layout!
I've talked to several DW employees that were there when the flume came down. They hooked a bulldozer to the main hill and pulled it over without much effort. I guess that shows how bad off it actually was.

The ride was probably doomed as far back as 12 years ago. In 1993 when the park updated Fun Country in to the Country Fair, they had to do a massive renovation on the flume to keep it operable. I guess DW didn't want to spend a lot of money on it again...
