I was posting on TN and someone that I think also posts over here said that the park had 2,000,000+ visitors last year.

Can anyone confirm this? I thought Max or someone said they didn't reach it.

When is the 2004 attendance for all the parks going to come out?

Back in Nov (or late Dec.) Max & I were told by David Mandt that the park did not reach the 2 million mark in attendance. Yet, the recent AB year end totals have Carowinds at 10,000 customers above 2 mill. (2,010,000).

Way to go Carowinds! I'm sure those last 2 days in Nov. helped tremendously.

Wow that's great!

Does anyone know where I can get the full list of all the N.American parks?

You have to subscribe to AB to get their list.

A little birdie sent me a copy of the top 50 list.

Some interesting things...

Carowinds had one of the Top 3 biggest jumps in attendance last year (13%)

Carowinds passed SFOG for attendance.

Carowinds was the 29th most attended park (a jump from 35th only 2 years ago)

And of course we know they finally broke the 2MM mark at 2,010,000 guests.

All in all a great year for the park :D

If they keep up the trend then they could easily pass PKD pretty soon.

Just goes to show a new coaster will bring the crowds in.

Up 13% and first time ever at 2 Million guest. The park can thank Borg for that but not only Borg, There was also the Nick Parade that people lined the walkways to see and that was something special, So special i'm happy to see it coming back this season. There was just way to many special events this year that added to the 2 Million mark not just Borg but Borg was the main reason i'm sure.

Hopefully the trend will continue with the Nick area....!
