Copperhead Strike has a double meaning with “Strike” and launch coaster. We’re going to have those who will shrug at the name regardless, but I don’t see the park stepping away from Copperhead Strike as it really sounds “launch coaster” (assuming this trademark is for Carowinds which it most likely is).

Ignore the compass in the middle XD. Not sure why I added it.
I redesigned it to look similar to North Gate. I also changed the parking lot (mainly to make it easier and safer to walk). I also added trees in the parking lot, however in South Carolina, it is not mandatory to add trees to brand new parking lots. In North Carolina, it is mandatory to add them when building new lots.

I really like this concept! Do you think you could do an overlap with google maps to show where this is in relation to the current gate?

Wasn’t there a group of trademark names for Fury but Fury wasn’t even on the list? Something like that? Maybe older gents can help out. I haven’t been on here in long time. First time posting, long time viewer. Been following since Borg days.

In 2014, Cedar Fair trademarked ‘Fury’, ‘Fury 325’, and ‘Rougarou’. IIRC ‘Centurion’ was trademarked in like October of 2013. Still has yet to be used, but given that Cedar Fair is trying to re-focus the park on the history and culture of the Carolinas, I doubt Centurion ends up getting used here.

If the leaked blueprint is accurate, there's no way this thing eclipses Flash. Radius is too small. If I had to guess, each loop will be around 100 to 105 feet.

I rode the Skytower yesterday and took this pic of the Hotel Construction. Not much to show yet.

I was at the park today, I got some shots of the construction area. Of note, they left a gate open, it didn't have any signs about "authorized personnel only" But i knew better than to be stupid, so i only took a picture of the open gate, i didn't even approach it. All pictures are from holding a camera over a fence, in a fence gap, or carolina sky tower.

Also of note, a concrete pipe with 'project alpha' spray painted on it, and some 'sectioned off' areas that are either utilities or areas footers might go in? They are 1.5-2 feet square, and have four sticks poking out of them in a square with pink construction tape.

I've attached two photos, the rest are in an album on Imgur: https://imgur.com/a/aQajsRQ

It really wouldn't surprise me if the pipe was there just to tease us. Just like they left viewing holes in the fence for fury.

Edit: the project alpha spray paint to tease us anyway. The pipe could be used for drainage for an underground section, or just for drainage in general.

Drainage systems.....
Those have nothing to do with footings.
